Make sure you have some T for this one. Start at the fortress, Dark chocolate room and flip the switch. Climb down into the pit and you have a maze kinda like this

Sorry for the shit diagram and ignore the (...............) First go straight up to x and find out what levers you need to flip(mine was UR, DR, UL) Flip them and go back to x and turn the valve. Climb out of the pit and FLIP THE SWITCH AGAIN.
Go to the chocolate factory and climb in that pit and repeat the process....go to x and find which ones you have to flip(main was UR, DL) Go to x turn the valve and climb out of pit.
Go back to the Fortress and flip the switch again, go back to the factory chocolate room, eat something and you are done.

I noticed on this one that there is no mention of finding the Newpaper guy - does anyone have the co-ordinates for this, it appears you cannot finish the day without finding him?

Further to my previous comment - The co-ordinates for the newspaper guy - which you must do BEFORE you start the adventure - are on the bottom of Willy Wonkas letter that you already have in our backpack
After 3 days of following this and it still not working it appears that you also need to kill someone before the adventure ends, im hearing hints of the moose man from Day 14?!
1. Visit Uncle Joe
2. Visit Newspaper guy
3. Evil fortress
4. Board room -> alive -> kick moose thing
5. Evil Chocolate pit, do the puzzle
6. Hoburbia -> Wonka's factory
7. Chocolate Room, eat something (is it necessary, not sure).
News Paper guy is at explorce city co-ords 45, 18 ;)
